This review is for the materials you pay for that go with the free online lessons on Hoffamanacademy.com: I am so happy have been given the opportunity to review these materials for unit one, my kids have absolutely loved using this to learn to play the piano, & they learned it so easy, as a plus they kept begging to do more. What I did was print out the sheets & added them to a binder with plastic pages so they could all use them & reuse them with a marker & the plastic covers were like a dry erase board. So all my kids git to do this amazing course.

To have such an awesome lesson plan for piano with homeschooling & with 6 different learning abilities is a must, it fit each one perfectly & gave them the desire to learn.

I did not have color ink but Printed the info out in black & white with no issues. I will be recommending this to other homeschool moms & to moms who do not homeschool,  Hoffman Academy Complete Piano Lesson Materials for Unit One is an easy step by step progression that even though who are musically challenged can follow. I actually had to remind my kids to slow down :)

This program for obvious reasons make my Cheree's Favorites list & it is teen approved & the other lessons are on our Wishlist.

Most kids do best with about 2-3 lessons per week or about every other day. These lessons are quite short, each just 5-15 minutes. On days that you do not watch a new lesson, it would be ideal to spend a few minutes at the piano reviewing what was learned in the prior lesson. As you progress through the lessons, it is also very helpful to regularly review past material, playing old songs, etc.

All the video lessons are free for anyone to watch, but we do charge for the materials, which can be downloaded and printed from home. These materials are not required for the lessons to work, but we feel children will get the most out of the lessons when they use them.
